PonoRez Chrome Extension

Make the Check-In Manifest easier to scan.

PonoRez Check-In Highlights adds visual highlighting to key information on the PonoRez Check-In Manifest, helping staff quickly identify balances, check-in status, and unsigned waivers.

What it does

The extension does not change reservation information. It adds visual cues within the Check-In Manifest to help staff recognize items requiring attention.

1

Balances

Helps outstanding balance information stand out during check-in.

2

Check-In Status

Makes reservation check-in status easier for staff to identify at a glance.

3

Unsigned Waivers

Highlights unsigned waiver information so it is less likely to be missed.

Install the extension

Installation takes only a few minutes. The extension is currently distributed directly by PonoRez and is installed using Chrome's Load unpacked feature.

Download the ZIP file

Click Download Extension above. Your browser will normally save ponorez-checkin-highlight-v0.1.0.zip in your Downloads folder.

Extract the downloaded file

On Windows, right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract All. On a Mac, double-click the ZIP file to extract it.

Move the extracted folder somewhere permanent

We recommend placing it in your Documents folder, for example: Documents\PonoRez Chrome Extensions\PonoRez Check-In Highlights. Chrome will continue to use this folder, so do not delete it after installation.

Open Chrome Extensions

In Google Chrome, enter chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.

Turn on Developer mode

Enable Developer mode using the switch in the upper-right corner of the Chrome Extensions page.

Choose Load unpacked

Click Load unpacked, then select the extracted PonoRez extension folder—the folder containing manifest.json. Do not select the ZIP file.

Open or refresh PonoRez

Return to ponorez.online and open or refresh your Check-In Manifest. The highlighting will be applied automatically.

Important: If your company manages Chrome through an IT administrator, Developer mode or Load unpacked may be restricted. If those options are unavailable, contact your company's IT administrator or PonoRez Support.

Updating or removing the extension

When PonoRez releases an updated version, download and extract the new files to a permanent folder. Then return to chrome://extensions and reload or reinstall the extension as directed by PonoRez.

To remove the extension, open chrome://extensions, locate PonoRez Check-In Highlights, and click Remove.
